I started out the wrong way. Got my best first. 11pt. 210lbs. field dressed in 1957. Been hunting 46 years since and I have not been able to best it. That first was in Illinois. Have since moved to Northern Mississippi in 1977. A buck that size in my area is a rarety. But I still keep hunting and hoping.

Nah,that is a buck from out in Iowa corn country,it just really has the mass and tine size I like along with drops and other " trash" and would be about what I visualise when I think ultimate antlers. On the other hand this bad boy from up here in Maine would really make one wonder if indeed a moose took up courtship with one of our northern whitetails, and what the resulting union would yield !

I think a big bodied, 26-30 point non-typical would be a dream deer.

Perfect 10. Nice symmetrical, wide, tall points, No kickers, not real big on overly heavy rack either. Little lighter than dark. That' s what I like.

One of the greatist B&C bucks shot was taken in Maine. The man who shot it thought it was a moose!, but luckely he had tags for both. It scored 259 NT and had 31 points. []
