This is going to be a great trip
Finally its the time of the year for my whole family and some friends to get together and spend the weekend doing nothing but hunting deer. Hopefully I will get a couple does for meat and my sister will get a big 8 point. For the question why Im hunting does and not a buck is that my dad gave the chance of the 8 point to her and not to my brother, other sister, or me but the last day all the bets are off and the 8 point is fair game.

The management plan that the our ranch has and the phase we are in we aren't shooting any 10s. We can shoot 6s as long as their do not have brow tines. Our list of bucks that are to be harvested are spikes, 6s without browtines, 3s, 5s, and of course the freaks that say spike one side and 3 or more on and then it goes up from there they must have an extreme different number of points

The ranch is located in Texas and my family owns the place so as long as everyone there has a Texas Hunting Lisease it is legal as long as the people that are there hunting deer have whitetail deer tags still can legally hunt deer. Everyone else can hunt anything else as predators, pigs, and javalinas. So yes its legal and i guess u can can it a party hunt i haven't heard of that before.

I haven't ever heard of party hunting I call it a huntng trip with family and friends and in Texas it is legal. Everyone there will have a valid Texas Hunting License so everyone will be legal to hunt deer, predators, feral pigs, javalina, dove, quail, and Gio Grande Turkey. Duck and goose with a federal waterfowl stamp.
