I poised this question about a year ago and the answers were all over the board...
If my memory serves me correctly it was some type of berry bush that caused this.
Hopefully someone can come to the rescue?
I like to think there are real life Smurf's, kind of like a Sasquatch!

And here's a picture of the Buck dad's missed with hiz muzzeloader twice now. He finally listened to me and sighted it in the proper way, told him that laser site was ****. Talk about frustrating...

We've still got until the 10th. Hopefully the weather cools down, 40 degrees is nice but not for hunting, give me some terrible weather and I'm happy.
This is our first year with this food plot, the deer really love the sourgum, turnips and clover, as well as all the cornfields around here. Fall of 2009 should be a good year and I'll be bringing my A game before and during the rut after watching their behavior this year. I still love hunting the late seasons though.
