Default Blue urine 2

On this subject I typed alot and when I pushed OK it froze and never made it, so if it happens again I will be pissed.

I brought this topic up about 4 years ago. It was legit in that I heard a seminar was going to cover the topic of blue urine coming from deer. I bring this up because I came across another spot on the snow that was blue unlike the many spots I noticed 4 years ago.

Has anyone seen research on this topic? I am assuming it has to do with nutrition........

That is the first I've heard of this. What shade of blue is it? Is the color almost a shade of blue like Windex?

It is really noticeable and yes it does look like Windex. What I saw in the past was noticeable being it was beloow freezing. The most recent that I had seen was not that visible due to the melting snow. The last 3 years I had not seen any.

Wonder if it could be caused by the deer eating certain wild berries?

I've never heard of blue deer urine before. I really don't have any idea what would cause that, but I'd guess minerals are to blame.

When I was a kid, the folks would put Potasium Permangamate in the chicken's drinking water to prevent some kind of disease (it turned the water a deep purple). Then when I was in the Navy, some guys slipped a little of it in the big coffee pot! When the guys went to the bathroom, it was PURPLE! Scared them half to death!!!
