Will deer eat sunflower seeds?

Yes, but they are usually planted for doves.IMO deer like sunflowers for cover better than the seeds. I've read where birdwatchers have had ahard time with deer eating the seeds put out for the birds.

i tried to plant some for doves deer got them before they got going
