Rattling Question
I went out hunting this past weekend and of course, here in Texas, we rattle for bucks. I have always used a rattling bag (and it works or I wouldn't have kept using it). My brother had a set of antlers from a buck he shot several years back that he had on the wall and fell and split, so he made them into rattling antlers. We were set up about 300 yards apart. Long story short, nothing worth shooting came in that morning, so afterwards, I was talking to him about his horns. He told me that he heard me rattle several times, and it sounded good, but it was not very loud (and i was trying to be loud). I of course heard him and it was plenty loud and i though they sounded really good. I plan to take a set of horns from one of my bucks i got several years back off the wall of the garage and put them to use for me. What are ya'lls experiences when it comes to rattling? and opinions (real, fake, bag, etc.?)
