Default Rem 870 w/rifled choke

Should I be using my rifled choke if I'm shooting a rifled slug? Or should I be using sabots?

As always, thanks for your help.

Default RE: Rem 870 w/rifled choke

i think the rifled choke is a gimmick, just use an improved cylinder or full choke in tehre with Rifled slugs since its smoothbore. I get 4" groups from rifle sights at 50yds using smoothbore with cheap remington rifled slugs. Would get closer if I had a scope, if it wasn't busted...that's another story
