Squirrel Alert
Kind of a follow up to the other post where squirrels bust you. They usually drive me nuts in the woods because I think they are a deer coming in behind me but this morning I noticed them start to go nuts; chattering. I usually ignore them trying to listen for deer but thought maybe something was coming. Sure enough 3 does came strolling right in front of my stand about 5 minutes after they started. Then came a nice buck behind them....

RE: Squirrel Alert
I was sitting in my stand this morning watching a couple squirrels chasing each other around not paying attention to the one 15 feet above me. All of the sudden I feel dripping on my jacket. You guessed it, he was peeing on me[:@].

RE: Squirrel Alert
I like your idea with the owl call CamoCop, awesome.
I have found if the squirils are busting you and barking at you, it is becasue you are either moving too much or need to better conceil yourself, I have them around me all the time and it is not very often they bust me, and if they do its because I moved or my camo is not matching my area.which it's Great to Know becasue if they are Busting you constantly the Deer Will To,before you ever see them. So you should probrably considerbetter hiding yourself and or change camo patterns. That was a mistake I learned years ago That a very Nice old Timer pointed out to me and since I regulary see Deer where as before if I did they were so far out you'd never get a shot ifI did even see anything, Hope this helps.
