I think Im around 12 or so. I love to hunt and do it a lot, but the closest grounds I can hunt for me are 5 hours away so I only can get out for long weekends. I couldn't imagine harvesting more than 3 deer a year, I can barely go through all that meat in a year! For you guys that shoot 10 or so deer a year, do you butcher them yourself? Thats a lot of butchering!!

6 last year, I have no idea in the last 15 yrs or so, probably around 50.Nearly all does. I've only shot 3 bucks in the last 5 years. They are kinda pests around here. People hope they dont hit one on the way to the stand.

18 years and I have killed 45 deer. I writeevery storyand details of the hunt in a journal so I can remember them. Somehow it seems respectful of the animal not to forget the hunt. Maybe someday my future kids, grandkids, etc... will want to read it.

Canned Heat

Altogether since I started....26. Mostly does...mostly gun season here in WI with rifle. I keep a log. Learned that from my older bro who's almost a bit over the top.

Started at 14 and I'm 39 now. Some lean years but also some dandy years. Took an 8 pointer (bow), a ten pointer (gun)and 2 does back in 2004.
