This might be a little weird but I rather takea fawns life then the doe. I would hate to shoot a mature doe and leave the fawn behind without a mother. So instead I would rather shoot the fawn and leave the doe without a fawn. I haven't done this yet but T-ZONE is tomorrow and we don't have to many single does walking around. I know I will fold when the time comes and let them walk.

Question for those of you who don't take does that have fawns...

Do you pass on 1.5 year old does as well because at the point in there maturation they usually return to their herd in which their mother is possibly the matriarch?
Also, are there any of you who don't take does with fawns for fear that the fawn won't survive the winter?
