Default Soft cases

Anyone using a soft case? Pros and cons? I see there are some that claim you can leave your quiver on. Do the bow and arrows get adequate protection?

For my SBXT I use a Tarantula Soft Case when I head to the range. I have a two piece quiver and I take the top off from the end of the archery season until the begining of the next. I use a hip quiver the rest of the time.

Pros: Lightweight and very convenient for the short hauls.

Cons: Very little protection....not meant to travel long distances.

I personaly prefer a good hard case. They are a little more bulky but protect your gear much better. The only two soft cases I would even consider are the SKB and the Primos soft cases. Both are well built and provide about as much protection as you can expect from a soft case. Only draw back is you can get afair to very good hard case for what you pay for either of the soft cases.

Ditto on this.

I bought my first soft case this yr and like it. The bow sets between my back seat and front seat while traveling and the light weight is nice and it protects the bow from nimor bumps and things snagging it. However, if I were to go on a trip I'd buy another hard case so that the rest of the junk doesn't break my bow.

I love my hard case the bow doesn't move around at all and i can set stuff on it with no worry. The most important to me is the arrow protection.

Of course I use a hard case for travel...but for going on local hunts I use a soft case. I just got one of the Primos soft cases. Excellent quality and enough room to accomodate fairly long stabilizers without removal from your bow...highly recommend.

I realy like my skb soft case .It will hold a ton of gear plus your bow with quiver attached. For traveling i think i would go with a hard case.

I have both, the soft case never goes in the woods, The hard case is cheap insurance, the sight or quiver cost more than the case did so why take the chance?
