Opinions are a great thing. They are one of the freedoms that we enjoy in this great country. So on that note, in my Opinion, neither candidate is correct on all the issues. The upside to Obama is that he is a Democrat and he supports the democratic views about the economy. You know, the ones that had the economy booming in the 90's. I also support the Republican views on gun laws and offshore drilling. Neither candidate is going to be right on everything but the Democrats seem to be right on the things that should matter the most and that is the economy. Without a good economy the ability to hunt goes away because we don't have the money buy ammunition or get gas to drive to your hunting spot. I do not want anyone to think that I support restrictive gun laws because I do not. Yes, Obama is wrong there but he will never be able to get the laws passed with all of us working against them. But you should never beleive that just because McCain is in office that these gun lobbyists will go away. With McCain in office we just will not have the money to fight them because all our money will be going to the oil companies and Iraq.

For those interested. I also am a middle class American, Itoo think G. Bush has made some mistakes,BUT, No president since F.D.R. and Truman has had more catastrophies happen whileserving as president. Also, being middle class, I have lived within my means, saved a bit of money, and am enjoying the "middle class american dream". Sure, gas is high .. but you should seethe prices overseas.G. Bush stated BEFORE becomig president, that we (America) needed to drill inAlaska, and find other areas to drill (offshore) also, or the American people would see gas prices like they never had ... he was right. For those thinking of voting forObama, All I'll say when they come for our guns is.... Where were you when protecting our Second Amenment was in jeopardy.

The upside to Obama is that he is a Democrat and he supports the democratic views about the economy.
Would that be the views that are Socialistic?
Would that be the view that raises taxes?
Would that be the view that sells out our national soverenty to U.N. rule?
Or, might it be the view that taxes those who are willing to work, in order to give to those who will not work, opps I'm sorry, "to the poor"?

You know, the ones that had the economy booming in the 90's.
Oh, yeah, the economic boom of the 90's! That would be the economic boom wave that "Reganomics" started!

I also support the Republican views on gun laws and offshore drilling.
Contradictive statement! IF you support these views there's only ONE way to vote!

Neither candidate is going to be right on everything but the Democrats seem to be right on the things that should matter the most and that is the economy.
Yes, the economy does matter most! However, the economy, just like "freedom of speach," freedom of religion" and the whole rest of our Constitution RESTS ON THE PROTECTION PROVIDED BY THE SECOND AMENDMENT!

Thats a great strategy!
Tax the rich to make us all equal! (Socialism!)
Tax the busnesses that PAY our wages! (Might as well send the few American companies that we have left overseas!
Continue to tax "capital gains!" (Punishes theWORKING people investing their 401k's in the stock market!) (BTW, 401k's ARE a very large portion of whats invested in the market!
UniversalHealth Care! (Again, punishment ofthe working people who are RESPONSIBLE enough to pay for health care! Only to give "free" health care to those who are NOT RESPONSIBLE enough to provide for themselves!) ( BTW, this only LOWERS the QUALITY of health care forEVERYONE!)

Need the list go on? NO! The Democratic Party has perfected the LIE that they are for the "PEOPLE!" For those who continue to believe this LIE, the list could go on forever and you'd still not see the truth!
I'm not "rich," I believe it is ourDUTY to care for those who are down and out and CANNOT take care of themselves!
It is NOT our duty to care for those who WILL NOT care for themselves! The bible says " Let those who WILL Not work, not eat!"
I AM "Union!" AND, the Republican Party IS NOT perfect! However, I CANNOT support a party that kills babies, wants to distroy the Constitution and give our freedom to the U.N.!!!!
Finally, let's be REALISTIC, the two party system is a FAILURE! But, also being "REALISTIC," a third party candidate doesn't have a chance!
I''ll take the "lesser of two evils," (Republican Party) any day! Especially when the platform of the"lesser of two evils" is MILES apart from the Democratic Party!

First of all I thought this country had advanced to a point where we all could live together dispite the physical attributes that seperated us. MrPhotographer06 I have no clue who you are, but its people like you that are holding the rest of the world back. Your comment on this post disturbs me not only because its racist but because this website didn't address it. C H A N G E Come Help A ****** Get Elected for those of you who didnt know what it meant. We down and talk about comments made by animal rights activists, but its seems as thought some guys on here tolerate racists better than them.
Secondly, we all have our political views and beliefs. I am an African American and was not an Obama fan. Contrary to popular belief all Black people are not Pro-Obama, but I dont base my opinion on the simple fact that he voted to ban hand guns. Someone made the comment that he is not a Christian because of some of his views. Wow! Are you serious? LET HE THAT IS WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE..... For all of you true Christians out there.
I was a and still am a McCain fanbut its not becauseed I want to keep my gun.My advice to you all is to get educated and actually do some research instead of reading blogs on the net and listening to people like Mrphotographer06. Your views are your views but know ALL ofthe facts and the truth before you make your decision. I enjoy HNI and hate the fact that people like MrPhotographer06 has the capability of corrupting it. To all of you who feel like him...well..never mind. This is a place for us hunters to come and give advice or just chew the fat. I respect each and everyone of you, except MrPhotographer06 and friends. I have never met any of you and could care less about what you look like. Lets not turn HNI into another racial battle ground.
Jimbo I respect your post. Its way more to freedom than owning a gun. For all of you who are ignorant to actual gun control legislation, it is virtually impossible to take the nations right to own a hand gun away.

I work for the Federal and State government and on a regular basis meet with my state representatives, senators and their constituents. I'm voting for Obama. I want change. Your guns will not be taken away. The propaganda that has entrenched your minds is the result of the media and the O'Reilly's seen on the boob tube. Their are more issues involving everybody in this world than gun control. I don't hunt with a assault rifle, I don't believe they need to be on the streets. McCain has had 4 bouts of Cancer and if Palin became President then God help us all. She needs to realize that she isn't running for the PTA but for the Vice Presidency of the USA. I"m not a democrat nor republican. I vote for the better administration. McCain is the mirror image of Bush and I'll be ***** if I'll vote for that.

Not ALL change is good, even in a bad situation...Just because things are bad, many changes can take a turn for the worse. Obama preaches change, which he undoubtedly would deliver....Im just worried about which direction those changes lead us.

Hard to deny JagMagMans logic folks. Nobama here as well.
