I think that it is shameful to speak of DD as having a potentially negative influence on youth. To the contrary, he is a role model and a paradigm of hope for many.

I'm just saying killing 10, 12, 15, deer a year is unecessary.
unnecessary???? lets let our state DNR set our guidelines,,while i have not had a banner season in the last few years, mainly because i don't have the time available to hunt like i had in the past, or the time/money required for taking care of a large quantity of venison, a good year for me is 3-7 deer, with 3-6 being tasty does with the bow, i would like to kill a good buck every year but because of mismanaged hunting and buck/doe ratio's that are out the window it is a rarity that i kill a buck like that here, i have had years where i killed truck loads of deer, and like mentioned before, i was using it for all our meat, and it fed a lot of other non-hunting peopleother than fowl or fish, those years we never bought beef or pork unless we were dining out

I dont know youor your habits, and dont care to.
your right you don't know DD, if you did you'd know that he took a neighbors kid to kill his first deer andmade very nice post(w/pictures) about that very hunt, you'd also know that when he took his young son hunting he would also take his sons friendswith them....

yea DD is a bad guy, i bet there are thousands of young kids that would love to have a neighbor that would take them hunting/fishing

Keith (ANOTHER LIFETIME forum member) thank YOU my friend BUT I can assure the ones who have pointed Fingerz at old dd don't want to hear about that ...they would rathermake up things like hunting behind high fences or killing TO MANY deer but I do appreciate you.

How does this post go for 12 pages? Because you have self bumped this stupid topic 33 times. You currently have 33 posts in this topic alone. 10 posts per page, so that means you have 3 and one third PAGES of JUST your responses... Thats how this nonsense gets drug out so far... Have you looked at the poll lately...? Better find a new home..

guys come on. why all this drama over something like this? we're making mountains out of molehills here. to me, its pretty clearcut. whether or not he posts his diary is HIS decision, and its also YOUR decision whether or not you want to read it. i'm not trying to be a smart ass, thats just my thoughts on the subject

Pro-Line once knew a wise expression concerning those that spoke of themselves in the third person. Pro-Line thinks that it may have something to do with narcissism, but Pro-Line isn't sure.

Pro-Line will try to remember it. If Pro-Line remembers, Pro-Line will edit this post.
