Might not be the best category to ask in, but just throwing this out there. Thinking about picking up a boresighter here in the next week or so. With the price of ammoI want to atleast start close at 100 yrds...who makes a decent boresighter for like $50-100? Is lazer better than mechanical?
Would like to find one that will work on both my rifles and scoped slug guns...

I don't know how a "laser" model compares to a "mechanical". I have used to old style Bushnell brand, "mechanical" for decades. I have had no trouble with a careful bore sight with this one getting me "on paper". I think they run abut $40 now.

I have a the leupold magnetic bore-sighter. It's fits to the muzzle of your gun. I've had pretty good luck and the great thing is it fit's all calibers, no attachments or guides to mess with. It was $60 when i bought it about 3 years ago.
