I think that the mineral blocks will help. I don't know exactly how much it will improve the deer, but every little bit helps!

min blocks are good but granular trace mineral works even better. Dig a hole 3x3 and 6 inches deep then add the trace mineral preferably near a creek or water source and work it in the soil. But try to stay out of the area until you are ready to hunt it. I put my camtrakker in the area and let it do the work for me. Here is a buck that was hitting one of my spots in late aug of 2001. I had the trace mineral worked into the soil with a block on top.

G2 great buck pictures thanks for the advice. i think i can grow some bucks like that here. we already have plenty agriculture around here. i can't wait til september hunting season. first i going to put out some rackup mineral powder in march. then i'm going to put out mineral blocks from the feed store. a buddy told me to buy it in a 50# block then bust it up into pieces. he has horses and said it was cheaper than 5# blocks.
