maybe thats where the name magnate came from, you two are stuck on each other. i again find it funny that when other say what you say it becomes an attack. when you do it you will not respond. i do not have acopt of the tpwd study. ask them for it if you can find the site.you have stated that you were superior to other in other posts. do not change your mind now.i never have and never will feel superior to anyone.i just have hunting ethics where others do not.

I just read a post in another thread by a Texas hunter who says that xbows are legal 4 of 5 months there. The exception being regular archery season. Oh, and the disabled can use em then too. Sounds like a pretty fair deal for the xbow guys to me.

He also said that there is very little support for legalizing it in bow season. Sounds a lot like Pa

Buck Magnet and I have had a few VERY heated debates but they were conducted with respect and stayed in the spirit of the forum. I will say again, I started on this thread feeling superioir to no one but I now feel superior to one. When confronted with facts and statistics you went to name calling. When asked to support your statemnents you failed to reference the study, you failed to name the gadgets you vaguely referred to. It's an old ploy to try to discredit your opponent when losing an arguement. It's also expected when someone makes a claim in a debate that he be able to cite his sources with some credible evidence. I'm still patiently waiting to see some evidence supporting any of the claims you've made.

BT, you and I have had some HEATED debates, but you were always a good person to debate. It was dealt on facts, not name calling. You seem like a very ethical and good hunter to me. Dep, you keep talking about proof, show yours. Why didn't you respond to my post from this morning???? You talk about these gadgets and I show you that they can put on your X-Bow too. NOW DO YOU SEE that crossbows can have the same gadgets as compounds? You start talking about BT not being ethical because you were backed into a corner and had no way out. You know that you can't pull up proof, you can't defend the crossbow in a good way, so you resort to name calling.

Good Luck This Season: Buck Magnet
P.S. Only Chuck Adams can sit at home and see deer so get into the woods. =;^)

you two are really halarious. you deserve each other. i did answer your post from thsi morning and went over each one. maybe you should learn to pay more attention to what you read. the name calling and feeling superior was started by you bt. you can read the posts and see that for a fact.it took SEVERAL times of telling you where i got the info but for some reason it did not register with you. pay attention to what is in front of you and you will see where your questions were answered.

I am a crossbow hunter and have a lifetime permit in Missouri because of some messed up arms I have.
I feel thet it should either be for handicapped people or a seperate season because of the advantage.
I do not want dep to be my spokesman, I will say no more!!!
If they would have open seasons for both compound and crossbow than I say its still about morals and ethics anyway!!!
Lets all be good examples to those watching!!

i never asked or wanted tobe anyones spokesman. my opinions were not the only ones that felt that way.bt and madnet just avoided the others posts that confronted them. thos posts still show where they were asked why they were not answering.find some other platform to get on. i am disabled also but i do not whine about it.

Dep, maybe you should go back. Your whole point why crossbows should be legal was because compound bows have tons of gadgets. I PROVED that your crossbow has the same things for it. DID YOU READ THAT, Read it again, and maybe three or four more times after that. Then maybe you will let off of your "compounds have gadgets and crossbows don't theory" Take a look around on web sites that sell crossbow stuff, I think that there are more gadgets than you can beleive. YET AGAIN, WHERE IS THIS PROOF THAT YOU SUPOSIDLY GAVE US? I didn't see any website link. If you want me to believe that study, then show me the link. Until then, I am not going to beleive you. Where did I personally attack you? Where did I say that you have no hunting ethics? O, I didn't, but you did say that several times. Do you realize that it is people like you who make the crossbow hated more and more each day. You are such an advocate of it but yet all you do is make it sound worse. You make all crossbow users out to have the same attitude as you, no offense to the crossbow users, I know that you all don't act like that. Take a look at your arguements. You REFUSE TO READ peoples arguements, and then you tell them that they didn't say it. Go ahead, read your posts. Your posts are entirely wrote out of emotion, try writing a post on facts, not just because you want a crossbow season and you are willing to sling mudd to get it.

Good Luck This Season: Buck Magnet
