My last morning to hunt during the OK muzzleloader season I had 3 bucks (an 8, 9, and 10 point) in front of me at one time with a combined score of over 375", but not one of them was over 3.5. All three get to grow for another year.
The largest deer that I probably should have shot but passed was a 150 class 10 point, but he had a broken G2.

I hunt private land in Gladwin Co, Michigan - passed on six bucks during the gun seaason and at least that many during the bow season. No mature bucks, didn't even see one 2.5 year old which in this neck of the woods most people wouldn't event think twice of shooting. Dealing with neighbors that shoot anything that walks by, poachers Amish, etc....
