RE: mock scrapes
Mock scrapes are hit or miss for the most part....depends on pressure and the area i guess
So far this little bugger and a few small bucks are the only things that have visited mine.....

RE: mock scrapes
Next week i am off to make my mock scrapes. i use an empty 35mm film can with a 1/8 hole drilled in the bottom and top. Pull a string through the top of the can and tie a knot in it. Fill the can with cotton balls. Pour in about 1/4 ounce of dominant buck/doe-in-heat pee mixed. Make your scrape and rubbing branch.Pour a little of the pee on the scrape.Hang the canister over the scrape, out of reach of a deer.
This drips afew of drops of pee each day, just enough to keep thebucks interested.
