mock scrapes

Default mock scrapes

hanging a drip above a mock scrape....

fill it with doe p - doe in heat - or buck scent???

anyone have experience here?

a combination of the three would probably be ideal. i'm not sure how you go about that though. maybe that's what's in active scrape or whatever it's called.

Mock scrapes are hit or miss for the most part....depends on pressure and the area i guess





So far this little bugger and a few small bucks are the only things that have visited mine.....

i've made mock scrapes and urinated in them myself and had mature bucks visit them. i have several on my game cam from this year visiting mock scrapes.

I went and bought a drip bag with scape active best thing ever bought I"ve tried umm all this is the best I"ve used I put my camera up by awsome lots bucks and does came to check it you learn alot with it to just awsome

I made some this year but I havent had any success yet.. This was my first time making them so I probably did something wrong.

Next week i am off to make my mock scrapes. i use an empty 35mm film can with a 1/8 hole drilled in the bottom and top. Pull a string through the top of the can and tie a knot in it. Fill the can with cotton balls. Pour in about 1/4 ounce of dominant buck/doe-in-heat pee mixed. Make your scrape and rubbing branch.Pour a little of the pee on the scrape.Hang the canister over the scrape, out of reach of a deer.

This drips afew of drops of pee each day, just enough to keep thebucks interested.
