will mock scrapes work this time of year? thinking on setting up a camera on one just to try out. and what type of a scent should i use like a curiosity scent from hawgs synthetic or something else?

I doubt you would have any response from a mock scrape this time of year. I would use corn or some other food source, but they aren't going to concentrate on foods this time of year like they would in the winter. Too many natural foods out there for them to pick from now.
