Default Kansas mornings.... gone horribly wrong...

So, as normal I started my morning off too early, which is really no problem because I get some coffee and then head out. So, I'm leaning against the truck for a while before I walk in and lookin at the stars. I noticed some movement to my right and under the neighbors skylight I see 5 coyotes cross the dirt road.... No problem, They won't bother me.
So, five minutes later, I hear something to my right, I look and 2 black figures are running at me. So, I spin around and widen my stance and yell and both coyotes vere off from within 8 feet of me and take off into the woods... I hop in the truck (not having a gun and bow hunting today) and roll down one window...
Coyotes are circling my truck. This goes on till the sun comes up.
So, my stand is about a mile back so I start my hike late as hell and get to my field. An hour into it here rolls some dude around the cornfield, right over the top of me, right through the field I'm hunting, goes onto private property and disappears over a hill...
Screw this I went home.
I'm takin a 22 tommorow morning with my squealer to kill everything that moves under that damn light.

That is why I am glad that in Indiana you can pack some heat while bowhunting if you have a permit. I ain't afraid of a coyote but 5 is a different story. If youcan't carry a gun in Kansas I would get some pepper spray, or something I found works better on dogs is hornet spray. It will set them on fire.

My brother works for the phone company and they have mace for dogs, one day he was out of mace and only had some hornet spray with him. This dog come after him and he sprays the dog in the face and he said it was like he shot the dog with a flame thrower, dog went nuts shaking its head and howling for about 5 minutes. They next day he had to back to finish the install and when he pulled up here comes the dog again until he seen who it was and turned and hauled a$$ the other way.

Wow,
I thought you meant it chemically set the dog aflame... I was gonna test this on neighbors pit bull.

Plus it gives you a little "range" if a dog is coming at you.
