I have a kimber 84m montana in .308 win. I sighted in with hornady 165 spbt bullets. I was getting half inch groups at a hundred with the hornadys. I would like to try some other bullets also. Do you have any recommendations for this rifle for deer hunting? Also I wonder if the lubalox winchester puts on their bullets fowls the barrel?

1/2 inch groups in a hunting rifle with good factory ammo and you want to change? Why? Leave well enough alone and go hunting. The likely hood of getting better than ½ inch groups is slim. You have already found a great combination.
