RE: 30/06 rounds
There is no realbest. It is a matter of what ammunition shoots the best out of your rifle. In my 30/06 I shoot 150 grain bullets as well.It happens to like Hornady light magnums.
I would purchase a couple of boxes of ammo starting with inexpensive but more than adequate Remington core lokts,Winchester Silver tips. You need to burn some ammo to see what shoots best out of your rifle.

At that distance, there's no good reason to invest money in premium rounds. Grab a couple boxes of Remington Express 150 gr. PSP Core-Lokt's and a couple boxes of Winchester Super-X 150 gr. Power Points. Take them to the range and shoot a few groups. See which your rifle likes better, and use those.
