RE: 300 Rounds
I am not sure if you mean 300 rounds as we shoot here in south Alabama or if you are referring to 3D type shoots. We shoot 5-Spot targets indoors through the winter to get ready for the 3D season comping up this spring. We have several shooters that can consistently shoot 299's and 300's. I have only managed a best of 297. My goal is to shoot a 300 with at least 50 x's even though I will probably not ever actually do it. Still, it is a worthy goal and I can keep shooting until I do. Good luck and shoot well.

RE: 300 Rounds
I just shot my first indoor league last year . it took me nearly 6 weeks to shoot a 297 35x's.This year thats what i shot on or first league night. The indoor league for me is where i work on shooting form .Which if you do shoot 3D it helps with the little critters like the dreded turkey which most people don't like, and coyote, coon, ground hog ,fox.20 to 30 yards away.At the big 3D shoots a turkey to me is a money maker you need an a 11x on that animal.Have fun with your indoor shooting and my advise is don't over bow your self 5 spots can wear you done go with light poundage, and accuracy not speed.

I shoot every TUE. and THUR. I shoot a 300 with 56X's on a average. Hoping someday i can shoot a 300 with 60X's on a average. I think a person that shoot a 295+ with a average of 40+X's is a great shot and if they keep it up they will hit the 300 mark soon! FORM/FORM/FORM!!!!!

RE: 300 Rounds
I shot my 1st 300 round ever last week using the 5 spot targets and shot 300 with 42 X's. You are correct about wearing you down, I started like a house on fire and started to scatter them alittle towards the end. I was shooting 63 pounds on my LX and hadn't shot an arrow since early November, really felt it in the bow arm shoulder the next day!! Oh well, with about 8 inches of snow on the ground it gives you something to do!

Burkboy,
The target is the blue and white, 5 spot NFAA target face.
Scoring is X-5-4. A total of 60 arrwows shot with a perfect score of 300-60X. I asume the target you are using is the colored Vegas target, which is usually shot with either 30 or 45 arrows. 300 or 450 possible, scoring X-10-9-8-7-6.
Hope that helps.
