Thompson Center Encore!!!!!!!!!
Hey guys just an update about the Encore. I did get one for christmas, and i absoulutely LOVE it! It holds so tight to your shoulder because of the pistol style grip. I shot a doe Dec. 27 with the 50 CAL. inline barrel. Dropped her in her tracks at a dead run. about a 10 yard shot though. After i made the shot a 135 class buck popped up behind her and i already harvested my buck for the year so i jumped up and yelled at it and it ran over to my buddy and he downed it. But i give the Encore 2 thumbs way up , What a gun.

Congratulation on your Encore. Sounds like you enjoy your rifle. Santa was good to you...I purchased the TC Encore 7mm just before Christmas but it's not at home yet because I'm having problems with our gun registration program. It looks like I'm not going to get my gun for a while... I like how short the rifle is. It's about 4" shorter then my 7mm Remington 700 , so it should handle nice especially in a tree stand. I can't wait till next season to try my new rifle.

man i got one for christmas as well but i got a .45 calliber and i love it, i killed a doe bout 125 yards off, dropped in its tracks as well, i love my encore though, the only thing i don't like is that im hard on stuff and im afraid itll get scratched up oh well, good hunting.

the encore makes sense i got one in 300 win.mag., 24" barrel and a brake...wear ear plugs...looking forward to buying the muzzle loading barrel and pistol barrel in 243... good luck
