Thisis my thoughtson high fenced hunting, if they hadone hundredarces fenced in an there was not a single deer inside the fence would they still hunt it. No, they would not because the deer can not get inside.I would not hunt it if it had 75 deer in it. You would have to pay for the hunttoo!!!!

My opinion like it or not, I don't like fenced in hunting and I think the people that pay to hunt that way aren't sportsmen in my book. Tell me off, call me whatever, you won'thurt my feelings. Thats just the way I feel. If you don't like it too bad.

Thats exactly the attitude every hunter should have......not to care what anyone else thinks! For me, I say do whatever floats your boat! I just wanted to hear what everyone's thoughts on here werebecause I have run into people with EXTREME opinions for and against high-fenced hunts and those arguments are wayyyy too intense!

I say if you think it is hunting, than it is, no onecan ever make you feel less proud of your animal or judge your methods!

I have never hunted a high fenced area. Along with the high fence comes the high dollar price tag! But, a 10,000 acre ranch is roughly 15 square miles! Thats not exactly a "pen!"
It may not be as "sporting" as some might prefer. But as long as it is not just a small "pen" and its legal, these people are still paying licence fees, guns, ammo, bows, arrows and camo! Also, none of these animals qualify for the "book," so they are not hurting us! A small pen is a whole different story!

I am against small pen hunting. Answer me this though, would peoplestill put up high fence areas if so many people didnt shoot one and half year old bucks, two and half year old bucks. The stats on these bukcs getting killed is outrageious.

Fencing gives hunters ability to manange wildlife. I am not saying all fencing is good but used the right way by hunters on a big enough property couldprove to be useful for allowing bucks to mature. Now Texas is putting up antler restictions in lots of counties which I am a big fan of.My county has restrictions (Thank goodness).

why is it outrageous for a hunter to legally take a 1 1/2 or 2 1/2 year old buck!!!!!!

some people don't hunt for "trophies", they hunt for food. i guess you don't eat your deer, just brag on their heads...right? antlers are nice but no matter how long you boil, grill or fry'm....you still can't eat them.

Watch your hunting fees go up, watch more people lease then and cant find any places to hunt. Take IL for example, Its nuts with the reputation they have. Its $400 plus to hunt now and moving higher just for licenses.
