ORIGINAL: chicksrule

if i catch some one trying to steal sumething off my property and i'll pop a cap up in there a$$

And then you will go to jail and probably lose that property you protected. If that doesn't happen then you may be the one who gets shot. There are more diplomatic and legalways to deal with trespassers-thieves. In Louisiana you don't have to post land. If you are on someone elses land without permission, you are trepassing, and the law will enforce it. That, of course, doesn't mean someone won't trespass though.

Sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, there will always be a bunch of jerks out there willing to do you harm.

There is a place in New York called Voss signs that sells aluminum signs that won't rust. If you buy 100, they come to a little more than a buck apiece (at least that's how much they were several years ago), and you can choose different phrases/wording. Then you use aluminum nails and only nail them in halfway so the tree has room to grow without popping the nails through the sign.If you are intereste, googlesearch on voss signs. They will mail them to you...

We had some removed on my son's property. Reposted using a ladder so we could put them higher and out of normal reach .
