Moultrie Deer Feeders ?
I just picked up a Moultrie feeder. It is a 6 gallon bucket that has a plastic feed dispencer on the bottom that will let the deer feed on demand. Has anyone tryed this feeder out and how did they like it?

RE: Moultrie Deer Feeders ?
Got one, hasn't been used in 4 years. Used to put it out before season. Replaced it with food plots. but it did work reasonably well. In fact, They would come in 5-10 minutes before it set to go off. I never saw more than one come to the feeder. If the winter is hard, I will put up 4 inch PVC pipes about 4 ft. tall tied to a tree and feed corn. Once they find it they will empty it in a couple dsys. Squirrels and coons will raid it too.

Hate to tell you this but moultries dont work very good. It is ok but if you want to get a good feeder for under $100 get a ontime feeder. Lifetime warenty. Mine have went through hogs, deer, and cows and keep on feeding. My batteries last one year +. You can set the time and the amount of feed given. I sold my moultries and went with all of these. No I do not sell them I am just a user.
Good luck.

The feeder i'm talking about does not have a motor!! It has a plastic cage like dispencer on the bottom with a ball in it. The deer hit the ball with there nose and the feed comes out..
