Sad, but true. I believe this is the same guy from my area. He also made sure to get his pic in the local paper with her in the back of his truck and had an elaborate story of his great prowess as a hunter. As best I can remember it, he stated that he killed this big doe after stalking it for over an hour, with no snow and frozen leaves that sounded like walking on corn flakes. He also made it a big deal to make sure everyone knew he didn't kill this deer with the use of bait, which is legal to use. He hunts by my hunting partners father-in-law. He is, in my opinion, a bad egg. He does hunt over bait, as I myself have seen him hauling it to his stand. My friends father-in-law is only able to hunt with archery because of his eyesight and he does hunt with the use of bait. This guy has on many occassions made it a point to mess him up. For instance a few years back you were legal to hunt over salt and my friends father in law had salt pellets out, this moron took it upon himself to set there while he was gone and arrange the pellets to spell out the words F__K Y_U!!!!. How do I know this, because he appologized to him a few days later stating someone had messed with him so he thought he would get back at someone and I guess you were it. We all hunt state land and need to truy to get along with one another as best we can, but at times it sure is hard when you have someone like this in the woods with you. Oh yeah, how would you like this? You are sitting in your stand until last light, legal shooting hours are up so you get down and prepare for the couple hundred yard walk back to your truck in the dark. You are now about 50 yads from your truck when all of a sudden someone jumps out of the brush and grabs you by the arm and screams "did you get anything" at the top of his lungs. Yes this is something else this clown likes to do. Or how about getting back to your truck only to find this guy is upset that he is't seeing deer and it has to be your fault because you are hunting only 3/4 mile down the road from him, so he parks his truck right against your bumper and locks his truck up and walks home. This too happened and the guy it happened to had to walk the 4 miles back to his house to get a chainsaw and cut him a path to get his truck out. I could go on and on about the unsportsman like antics of this individual, but my time is limited and I am sure by now you can see what kind of feller he is. If by the oddball chance that this is not the same guy, I appologize to the other guy, but it looks just like the one in our local paper with the exception of the one in our paper was a frontal shot showing his face and it was in a little different part of town. As for my thoughts on this pic, I think it is a big black eye for hunters and sportsmen everywhere. I think it shows disrespect for the animal and for all who had to see him. Do not worship the animals we hunt but do show them a little respect as they are all a gift from God. Also be proud of the fact you hunt but also keep in mind you can turn a person who is indifferent to hunting into an active supporter of Anti-Hunting just by the actions and attitude we hunters portray. God Bless and Happy Hunting

LIVE TO HUNT,HUNT TO LIVE.
