RE: You call the Shot 2!
I'd let it walk. Already have the buck meat and just because I have the tag doesnt' mean I need to fill it. I'll wait until a meaty doe comes by - that way I get some more days of hunting in on the last half of the season!

When shooting uphill or downhill, you always shoot LOWER than your target spot.. so if you are zeroed in at 200 hold it on your regular mark and it will hit perfect..
anyways i wouldnt take the shot.. its a SMALL doe.. oh and did i mention its a doe..

Aim higher if your target is at a higher elevation, and aim lower if your target is at a lower elevation.
If it's high, aim high. If it's low, aim low.

I'm perfectly comfortable with the shot, confident enough to double lung her with my 30-06, but I'm gonna pass since only half the season is over and I'll try and bag a nice meaty doe later.

I've taken many at that distance and farther.
Yeah, I'd shoot.
The '06 is sighted in at 2" high at 100 makes taking that shot just a matter of taking a good steady rest and slowly squeezing the trigger.

I have my 06' zeroed 2" high at a 100. If i had a good rest, i would hold low on the heartandbust her good.I figure it would take her high on the heart or low in the lungs. That is a good size doe compared to Georgia deer. So i would have no problem taking her.

Wrong.
Aim higher if your target is at a higher elevation, and aim lower if your target is at a lower elevation.
If it's high, aim high. If it's low, aim low.
