rattling
Hey guys,
This weekend I will be heading up to deer hunt. I will be hunting near the MN, Canada border near Orr. I'm hunting a clear cut on some trails that lead from their bedding area. I was wondering if it would help if I did some rattling. I will take either a doe or buck, so I was wondering if it will scare anything away, or draw them in. thanks

RE: rattling
Since two of my fellow great Minnesotan's contributed, so will I. I think that during the rut, rattling will likely only help and not hurt, especially if you want a buck over a doe? I also agree with grunting for a buck, and I also have had some decent success bleating in does as well on several occassions. Good luck home boys and to all you other hunting folk!
