What grain bullet of 30-06 is best for deer?

i like 165 myself

when you say best do you mean take down power, penetration, or best as in least amount of meat spoiled?

i perfer the 150, and its still bit to much, to me

I like the 180s for Mule deer since they are a bit larger than most whitetail. And i dont really mind spoiling some meat if it means knocking them down faster. I wouldnt trade those 180's in for anything they are my favortie round.

my bro shoots a 30-06 and im pretty sure he uses 165 grain

150 grain Sierra Boat Tails for me.
