This will be the first year for me using the 06', and since I was curious about Federal Fusions, I'm using 165 grain Fusions.

Winchester Fail-Safe 180 grain, never had to track one.

165 grn is best. about the same speed as 150 grn and the nockdown of a 180 grn.

150 gr in whatever bullet you prefer. Deer are not armor plated and do not require a premium bullet. Whatever shoots the best in you're gun though is the best option reguardless of brand and weight.

I can't shoot deer in Iowa with a rifle, well for a week you can with a special permit. I would like to use th 165 Fusions on an Antelope hunt next year.
