For cover Deer Dander and Fresh Earth
For attractant food scents to draw in the does
For intrusion tarsal and urine
For curiosity Active Scrape or Trail's End
I'll be trying Buck Smokes scrape this year for the first time , for a glorified wickless candle in a can it sure smells like a scrape !

I use Scent-Killer and Fresh Earth Scent Wafers. If I hunt around acorns or any fruit tress (like crab-apples), I usually take a fresh handful about every 2-3 weeks and keep them in the bag that I keep my hunting clothes in. I don't like to use any type of attractants (ex:Tinks 69) this early in the year. I use what is common to their smellduringcertain parts of the season.

I use Scent-Killer and When I get a buck I cut off the tarsal gland and use it the next year. In the early season I put some Trails End on it and place it where I want the deer to stop for the shot.
