This site makes posting pics difficult at least for me. I used to be able to and now there always seems to be an issue like file too big or some other contrived excuse. I got sick of trying.

C ! its really not hard to do . Its easy if you have a photo or Vid storage site . But I dont use one of those since Photobucket got taken over and became a robber . Now I just post them from my desktop comp. Yes it seems if I take pics with my regular camera they always seem the file is too big . I download the pics off the SD card into my Pictures file then riight click on the pic I want to post and open it in " Paint " . On the top left there is a " Resize " button that you can do it 2 ways. One by picking a size bu percent or do it by pixels . I always use pixels . My camera takes pics a 5155 pixels . I reduce that to 1000 . Then hit the X on the top right of the page to exit. Them I get a popup that asks if I want to save the changes . Click yes and I'm done. Sounds like a long process but realistically its only 10-15 seconds from start to finish.

I dont bother posting pics directly from my phone like so many guys do . It must be even easier than what I do because everyone is doing it . I Thought You Were A Tech Guy !!!

Lol I was a tech guy waaaay back in the day. Telecom high tech was teletype which then morphed into analog data feeding a controller to multi point CRT terminals and low speed printers. Cell service was only a dream and mobile phone was actually a radio feeding a phone head with the signal going through a base station hence the need for a 2nd class radio license. After my mentor retired I was the only outside tech to hold the license. Some toll guys worked the microwaves also held the license. I transitioned into Management and got away from the tech end in the mid 80s. I actually liked installing and repairing equipment better than managing people but my path was forged.

Look close at that photo of me along Route 42 before I headed into the woods (Post #8 above). Look what I'm wearing for a blaze orange hat! Yup... My wife Margaret and I found it in the closet rack a few weeks ago. She washed it in plain odorless detergent, and we hung it out to dry naturally. Still fits great, and still looks great, after all these years!

Cool hat.Wish they were still available.
