SEEING AND HEARING CROWS, NOT SEEING DEER

Well good luck and get a buck. Our season started off slow this year (we usually have warmer weather in the beginning). Towards the last week and half of the season, the rut started to kick in. I got both of my bucks and the butcher told me he got very busy during the last week of the season.

Check it out... Everyone (all the HNI veterans from back in the day)... Check it out too!
Look close at that photo of me along Route 42 before I headed into the woods (Post #8 above). Look what I'm wearing for a blaze orange hat! Yup... My wife Margaret and I found it in the closet rack a few weeks ago. She washed it in plain odorless detergent, and we hung it out to dry naturally. Still fits great, and still looks great, after all these years!

I'm fairly confident they don't care about hats lol.
Wish it never sold

I have an HNI t shirt that was given to me by Justin one of the original owners when the site was great. Through the years I often had that shirt on when I killed a deer or elk. l always figured it was a lucky t-shirt. It is getting pretty ragged now but I still wear it once in a while when hunting.

That's great Champlain Islander !!! I remember when Justin ran this site. It was incredible back then. T-shirts, hats, etc... all sorts of things to help offset the website bills. Today, it's owned by a totally different company who (most likely) doesn't even hunt, nor care about it. ...Sad.
