After what happened to me tonight (read ARHH!!! in bowhunting forum) i am about ready to wage warfare on poachers, its also about made me decided to be a game warden, because i am sick of poaching scum taking eveerybody elses bucks because they are to lazy to try adn get their own legally, but can it ever real be achieved?i mena getting rid of poachers and trespassers around here i know of maybe ten people in teh whole county that try to do things legally and dont go aroudn braggin of poaching bucks, im almost afraid to step up and say something against them because they are everywhere, and if i did turn somebody in the law wouldnt do nothign but slap them on the wrist and let them go, what is your alls opinion?

How do you feel about thieves and murderers? If you'd turn them in you should report the poachers. If you condone it, you need to learn to live with it.

What I do is think they'll get theirs someday, What comes around goes around. and continue on hunting the right way. I dont see how they can look at the mount and say I worked hard for it. Bullcrap. Just keep on hunting the right way and be there youll get em

I can't see the satisfaction in poaching. If a guy owns 40 acres, has kids, no job, and takes an extra deer out of season on his property to feed his family, that's another story. Poaching for "sport" should not be tolerated. Fine them BIG.

hoythunter48 turn them in other wise your basically turning the other cheek dont like what they are doing but wont do anything,
The report poaching program are a confidential reporting program
your name does not need to be givin just the information name's of the people if you know them and location of property.Dont think that they will only get aslap on the wrist and turned loose, first offence
has court cost, anywhere from ($1000-$2500) for the animal, loss of license for 5 years or life, loss of all weapon's and vehicle's used in the poaching and they can even lose thier property if the poaching took place thier or if they are caught with the illegal deer on thier property plus jail time.Believe me on all this I myself used to work for the DNR but I wasn't a field officer I worked in the animal trap and relocate dept but assisted them sometime's and those guy's are serious about making it hard for the poacher.I turned my neighbor in and that was 5 years ago and he nevere knew who did it until i told him he walk's the straight line now and cant hunt for another 5 years so do whats right man hammer them

Turn them in, it's the right and moral thing to do. It's people like that that give hunting a bad name. In most states if you know that someone is poaching and you do not turn them in you are also in violation of the law. Do not help them get away with this crime.
