RE: arial photo. now where should i hunt?
well, i went out did some driving around that property, also hunted for squirrel/rabbit.
good news: i saw 4 does within 30 minute
bad news: didn't see anything else the rest of the morning, the quail have mysteriously moved/disappeared, no rabbits, no squirrels. oh well. im kinda confused what im going to do for bird season once nov 9th rolls around.
possibly one of those deer could've been a buck. i just saw their white tails running away from me so i didn't get that good of a glance. also they were over 100 yds away from me and trees were in my way.
oh and as for where i saw those deer. in the thick trees towards the north east of that block. and they were feeding in that field (right on the upper tip of the secluded field). and i found lots of game trails and lots of oak trees. i just gotta figure out how i can get from the south part of the field to the north part without scaring them because some of that land is fenced off. i'll post updates later but am gonna have to do some job hunting wish me luck!
