Default Arial photo of my hunting land?

Here is a photo of the land I hunt. It totals roughly 60-70 acres. I have marked the areas we have killed deer with a yellow dot. The blue line is a creek and the green box is the thickest area (you can hardly walk through it) and I marked stand locations with a red dot. Do you see any other options that I didn't. Just to let you know the fields in the pic are mostly grass. the only corn field is located at the bottom of the pic dead center. Oh yeah, the arrow points to my house. Thanks for any suggestions.

What is the triangle in the center of the pic?
Also, where is the water other than the creek if there is any?

The triangle in the middle of the pic is a rather large field. It has never been planted with corn or soybean, usually either it stays grass of has hay planted in it and sometimes we do see deer out in the field grazing towards evening. As far as water that is the only creek in the area. There is a small pond along the creek that you can see but it's out in the open and deer don't use at all.

I like that stand set up between the large triangular field and the other field left of it. Looks like a great hunting spot. about how wide across is the patch of woods between the two fields looks like a possible nice place to set up.

Oh and one question. How do you get these ariel photos? and how much did this cost you?

Thanks

Good luck to you

Jim

I like the right hand side of the triangle field near the creek just above where you've shot some deer. I hunt a creek battom that is very thick and twisted and it's easy to see where they cross on a regular basis. I'd look for such spots.

I also like just above the thick aera. It looks like there is some regular woods between the thick and nasty and the field. that may be a good spot to scout out.

neck4752, the patch of woods you are reffering to is about 30 - 40 yards wide so it does create a pretty good funnell. as far as getting the arial photos they are free. just type in http://terraserver.microsoft.com/ in your address bar. Once you get there click on advanced find and type in your address and bingo. To save it just right click on the image and select save as.

Adams, I must say as of now the hillside along the creek is probably my favorite spot. I am going to check out the area right above the thickets like you said. They are more open woods so I may be able to find a stand location in there. I have a good feeling that alot of deer bed in there I just need to find out where they are coming out so I can cut them off. Thanks for the suggestions.
