Deer losing antlers very early???

We shot 1 deer in november, and 1 in december that has already shed his antlers, has this happend to anyone else???

I shot one Dec. 18 that lost one before I shot it and lost the other one when I shot it!

yep ; we saw a couple in early Dec. that had already lost theres.

My dad shot a bull moose a couple of years ago at about 400yds. Thought it was a cow and when we got up on it we noticed it had a little spike on one side and it had shed the other side already and it was Nov 1. Yes we talked to the warden and he cleared us as ok due to the weird circumstance.

A buddy of mine saw a half racked buck about mid January.
That's about normal time for Northern IL, but if they are dropping early, I wonder if it had anything to do with last summer's drought.
