I've killed deer during a full moon but generally see more deer when the moon is not out at night. I hunt anytime I get the chance no matter what the moon is doing. You can't catch fish with a dry hook and you won't kill a deer sittin on the couch.

Check my posts "T.R.'s Tips" on how the moon affects deer on the Bowunting.Com forums. They might help. Hunt the full moon for best results, hunt the rut for best results. They don't occur at the same time for most areas this year. Hunt the rut this year.

I hunted a full moon a bunch of times. I have found that the deer get up and feed later than usual. I took a nice 10 pt last year around 10am coming out of a bedding area to feed. I think that they feed all night with the light from the moon, then stay in the bedding area's a little later. Good luck
