Tonights Hunt
Hi guys, Well, I decided to go to the stand where I thought the most deer activity would be tonight. And wouldn't you know? They came again tonight. It was about 6:45 when a nice doe stepped out from the thickets. She came from my right and a little behind me so I repositioned in my stand and made my gun up to my shoulder, she looked up at me, I froze. She started to stomp her foot and bob her head around, Still though I froze. She finally looked away for a second and I lifted my gun to my eye and pulled the trigger...
CLICK! I forgot to take the safety off, so the hammer only made it half-way to the firing pin....
She looks up again and starts to go about her bussiness.
I didn't have a shot any more, I was waiting for her to step into another shooting lane when, from somewhere to my right I start to hear the dreaded snorting noise. They all ran away and I come home empty handed today
Anyway, I really want this doe to put meat in the freezer, So would it be worth a shot to hunt the same stand tomorow? Or should I give it a rest?
Thanks for readin my long drawn out story.

I believe you should give it a rest for a couple days, you got busted and the deer know your in the area.put your stand in another area or do some scouting in a different area. That way you might have two good spots.
