This year I had a grand total of 1 shot opportunity, and I passed on it. It was a button buck on public land. This year was really rough. Our creeks dried up on our farm back in June, and the deer moved on. In a normal season, I would have probably 5-10 GOOD shot opportunities. I usually see lots of deer, but not with an opportunity.

I passed up 65-75 bucks alone. Killed a 140" 10pt and missed a booner... My goal next year is to pass up 100 bucks.

I could have taken about 20 legally. I could have shot a hundred or more oppertunity wise.

I didn't read the question, but I passed on way over 50 small bucks and does. I voted 0-5 though because I thought it was big bucks. opps
