Nice buck, good control, you will be rewarded later for waiting! Maybe he will be a state record or at least he'll get to breed a little longer before you harvest him!

Great buck right there. That 12 gives you something to "aim for" next year. I held out this year for a buck I saw last year, passed on alot of other smaller deer, and finally got the one I held out for. It all comes together in the end.

Very nice buck ....congrats.

Same thing happened to me as you a few years ago. Shot a nice 8 pointer and I was walking up to it. Got about 20 yards from him and standing in the middle of the break 50 yards away was a monster 10 pointer. 1 Buck tag here in NY. We had a stare down for a minute or so and I told him I'd see him next October

Nice deer, and I'm serious when I say, that deer is IDENTICAL to my hubby's deer on the wall! It's a nice sight to behold.
