Which do you prefer? I actually like being in the woods were I can hear everything going on. That away, thesquirrells can make my heart race a few times for nothing

I'll probably be in a green field this afternoon and in the swamp in the morning. It doesn't matter.

I prefer the woods , but I like both .

in the woods 1st. then the shooting house,being in the shooting house,makes me feel like i can't see or hear.

To see bigger deer I hunt in the woods, but I still enjoy sitting in a shooting house over a greenfield with my wife. I tend to see more deer in the fields. But you don't see as many big bucks that way.

Me, I hunt the woods till the food supply is thinned out.
Then I'd hunt the field.
As cuttersaid, the bigger deer stay deep longer.
