Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Green field hunters

Man you guys are spoiled. I went to Nc this week end and i passed a lot of green fields and there were turkeys in alsmost every field i passed. I hunt 40 thousand acres of state forest and never see turkeys in fields. I always wondered how somebody could kill 30 or 40 turkeys. Now i know!!!

Must be nice. I guess i'll just have to earn my turkeys the hard way by sweat and boot leather.

Most of the birds were off 95 from the Nc boarder down to Raligh(spelling). We went to the Dixie deer classic.

I have seen them a lot lately in fields in north-western NC. The turkey population is a lot bigger out here. The problem is finding private land to hunt on. This will be my first season and I will be hunting on public land. I heard though that the public land up here is packed. I hope I can find someone soon that will let me hunt their land.
