Three years ago I took my deer to the taxidermist in November. I got it back on July 27 the next summer. It's funny I remember the exactday. To me those9 months seemed like 3 years.

Very nice deer you got there.

Fantastic deer!Being gone at the taxidermists so long reminds me of the story about the Jim Jordan buck. Make sure you get him back! Jordan didn't get recognized as the killer of his deer until after he died.

I will get him back. actually he is in the process of drying and then i can pick him up. I went and visited him alot to see how things were going and just look at all the other mounts that he was working on. The taxidermist is a good guy and does good work. I know he isnt trying to pull anything shady or i would have taken the deer elsewhere long ago. I will post a pic of the mount when i get him back. I did how ever lose a deer to a shady taxidermist the year befor this one. the guys name was rob douglas and he now lives in ironwood michigan and his taxidermist shop is called cedar valley taxidermy. if anyone knows him tell him i want my rack back!!!

Tony where did you shoot that big pig? Do you normally hunt around here? I hunt behind my house in midway and down in Jacobson south of rapids during the gun season. I've never seen a buck that big alive on the hoof out of a stand. What a rush that must have been!!
