here is a pic of a deer i took in 2002. weighed in at 239 lbs and had 16 points. mainframe 10 point with some kickers. he is still at the taxidermists but i should be getting him back right after christmas

taken in northern minnesota with a 270 savage model 111.
ya i know that 3 years is a long time for the mounting but i know the guy pretty well and he had a nother guy working with him who quit and now he is on his own and back logged 2 1/2 to 3 years and he tells customers that up front.

really! three years and it's still not done! you should be charging him!!! either he's lazy or he's so good that he's booked up for decades!

Nice deer but 3 years is just crazy.That taxidermists will lose 95% of his business telling folks it will be 2-1/2 to 3 years before hes done. I dont care how good ya are, 3 years.........

Is that live weight? or dressed weight? 3 years is way too long reguardless of the circumstances. 1 year is about right even for the bussisestof taxidermist. Is this a side hobby for him? BTW, very nice deer you took there.

I have never heard of a taxidermist taking 3 years to do a WT deer mount ... its a good thing you have pictures of him so you can remember what he looked like ... maybe after 3 years when you do FINALLY get him back he will have grown to a 14 point ... but it is a very nice buck ..looks a lot like a Canadian WT ...
