Hunting is not a sport in the sense that baseball, etc. are considered sports. It involves outdoor sports, and recreation, but technically it is not a sport. Anyone thatloses perspective about this is just not, usually reminding themselves of the gravity of hunting. Iknow that most true 'hunters' do. Then , there are those that are out of line and are insensitive, just as there are maladjusted folks from every walk of life!

Sean,
The many post is fine. It keeps us on our toes.WhatI do is probably illegal but I ....
Wear my reversable vest in the woods about 5:00AM. After I climb the tree I turn it inside out to the camo side. I don't beliee any man is goin gto look for deer in a tree. Before I come down I put th eorange back on. And where I hunt ..in a WMA I want to wear the orange.
Chuck

in Alabama, no hunter orange needed during archery season, but once firearms start, you have to wear it (even if you are hunting with a bow) . You can take it off however, after getting into an elevated stand 15 feet off the ground, or going inside an enlosed blind.

KNOW AND TRUST THE PEOPLE YOU HUNT WITH. IF PARTY HUNTING, LET THE OTHERS KNOW WHERE YOU ARE, AS YOU SHOULD DO REGARDLESS. WHEN WALIKING IN OR OUT, HAVE THE ORANGE ON NO MATTER WHAT. TAKING THE ORANGE OFF WHEN STAND OR STILL HUNTING, I HAVE NO WORRIES WITH MY FRIENDS. WHEN WALKING, WHY TAKE THE CHANCE?
