enter/exit trails?
do deer enter and exit feeding source on the same trail?say that night they leave their beds and head to food, next morning leave food and head for bed on the same trail?ive heard they travel in more of a circle but ive seen deer on the same trail both late evening and early the next morning sometimes going the same direction?

RE: enter/exit trails?
While the final movement into and out of a feeding area may be on the same trail the deer will normally hour-glass their trails to an from bedding areas to feeding areas. The trails taken will always depend on the wind (when undisturbed) but if you could look down on the trails as the deer move back and forth you would actually define a rather hour-glass shape to the trails with the middle being the place where they make their decisions on moving back into the bedding area with the wind in their face.

i have noticed in one of the ereas i hunt the deer seem to travel the westside of the field in the am and the eastside in the pm kind of like a big circle at night before heading back to the bedding area they also seem to bed in 2 areas both with cover and water
