Throw out a strong-scented block topper. Molasses maybe. Or even a powdered attractant such as Deer coCain or C'mere Deer or Buck Bran. Chances are they have tried it but you are never there to see.

I would agree on both counts. I cannot say that I have had a time that I didn't put deer cocaine out and it didn't attract at least some attention. When water hits it the powder releases a scent that attracts the animals.

On all of our spots that we have stands out we use a regular 50 pound salt block topped with molasses to attract. but we put down deer cain first then the block over top. we also put out shelled corn twice a week to keep the feeding intrest in those areas but we have 800 acres of corn and soybeans and another 200 acres of plots so its hard to keep their intrest for too long but it does work.
